About MACMC

Welcome to Macquarie Mediation Centre, Sydney’s newest premier venue for mediation and meetings. 

Featuring brand new, fully furnished, state-of-the-art meeting rooms and board rooms, Macquarie Mediation Centre has been designed and built to cater for all functions including mediation, arbitration, conflict resolution and negotiation.

At Macquarie Mediation Centre, we understand mediation and our rooms have been designed with a variety of services and functions to make mediation easy.

Our Centre couldn’t be located in a better part of town. Just moments away from Sydney’s major courts, we are perfectly positioned when it comes to mediation. Being adjacent to Martin Place, we are also close to several major train stations and Public Parklands such as Hyde Park and Cook and Phillip Park.

Rooms and Facilities

Not only are our rooms cosy, they have also been fitted with some of the latest technologies to assist with your mediation. All rooms can be fully secured, have full high-speed internet access and feature the latest technologies for web & teleconferencing. Five of our rooms come with large format TVs for connection through your laptop. We have provided a self-service kitchenette which you are free to use at any time and if you are after a meal, we are fully catered.

The Centre is comprised of the following rooms:
  • 7 mediation rooms (M1 - M7) with capacity between 6-8 persons.
  • 3 break out rooms (B3 – B5) with capacity between 2-3 persons.
  • 1 large board room accommodating up to 20 persons.
  • 2 additional board rooms can be set up at request from 2 lots of 2 mediation rooms (refer room plan).
  • Self-service kitchen.
  • Waiting area.
Facilities available at extra charge include the following:
  • Printing & photocopying in excess of 20 pages in black & white, and over 5 pages in colour.
  • Access to web-conferencing.
  • Access to tele-conferencing.
  • Catering.
  • Transcription services.
The complimentary facilities & services offered by MMC include:
  • 24/7 security & access control to rooms for the duration of any room bookings.
  • Fast and secure fibre wireless internet service throughout.
  • Self-service kitchenette with filtered water, tea & coffee facilities.
  • Printing & photocopying for the first 20 pages in black & white, and 5 pages in colour.
  • Scanning.
  • Audio visual screen use via HDMI or wireless connection (available in 5 rooms).

We are conveniently located in Sydney CBD’s Court district, moments away from the following Courts:

The Land and Environment Court (upstairs from Macquarie Mediation Centre) .
Supreme Court of New South Wales (Law Courts Building).
Federal Court of Australia (NSW Registry).

If you are travelling by bus or train, we are just minutes away from St. James and Martin Place train stations and bus stops surrounding Martin Place on Macquarie and Elizabeth Streets.

There are parking stations nearby in Elizabeth and Macquarie Street as well as the Domain Car Park if you are driving.

Not only are we located centrally and close to several key amenities in the CBD, we are also surrounded by public park lands including Hyde Park and Cook and Phillip Park.
